Carolina Vilcapoma is a Peruvian graphic designer, painter, and photographer based in Elsah, Illinois.
Carolina received her graphic design degree from the Art and Design Institute of Peru in 2012. Drawing and painting have been passions of hers since she was very young. Her interest in art was cultivated during her teenage years and further developed at Principia College. Carolina began her artistic journey at the age of 15 during her training as a graphic designer. Classes such as color theory, visual fundamentals, drawing, illustration, and photography sparked in her a great interest in art, which many years later would inspire her to pursue a BA in studio art at Principia College.
